My new to me 95 f350 with 120k miles. I have looked for a long time for one of these trucks and finally found one. It has been garage kept for the last 20+ years
What are your plans ? Work? Restoration?
There is a lot you should do before use.
Just because it was garaged doesn't mean it didn't deteriorate.
Get the dead bugs off the paint; the chemicals emitted from deteriorating bugs and bird droppings stain and damage the finish.
Pay really close attention to the undercarriage where moisture from the floor (even concrete) causes rust on the frame and floor (cab and bed).
Lack of use results in accumulating rust in difficult to access places. Unlike easy to see areas, these places, once exposed to water (with or without salt) begin to rust quickly (unless of course you live in a desert).
For example, simple things like changing the fuel filter can lead to a big job. The seals in the fuel bowl have likely hardened due to age, not worn due to use. Opening the drain valve might result in a constant fuel valve leak, for example. Sitting still does a number on spring bushing, shocks and brakes. Get yourself a bore scope and look in places for rust and debris like inside the tailgate, the rear wheel well between the outside fender wall and the inner spatter shield; the underside of the rear fuel tank, inner door and front fender panels. These place are where an once of prevention is work a pound for cure.
The truck is very much worth the effort and cost to systematically go through everything. Not a five minute task but one that will give you many years of enjoyment if done well.
Good luck with it.
I have had this truck for 3 years and I have made a few changes to it after some needed maintenance. It had a major boost leak at the collector on the back of the turbo. The up pipes were replaced and the EBPV was deleted thanks to Riff Raff. While I was in there I did a fuel bowl delete and a CNC Fab 4 Line feed and a Marty's E fuel kit along with a 38 gallon rear tank. I had a cheap Dana 60 fall into my lap so I couldn't pass it up. This is how it sits now.
