I have a F250, 1975 year model. Inside the engine compartment, there are two pieces of bodywork that seem to sit above the wheel wells, attach along the top to the quarter panel, but on the bottom seem to just sit on the other frame pieces.
Sorry explanation, but I wonder if these were originally welded in place. On the left hand side, there is the place where the jack mounts, for reference.
I can move them by hand, and wonder if they are a source of noise.
