Hey guys, got an 84 250 and trying to change out the old rear rims for some newer model ones. I can’t justify the price for the 16.5s. I was wondering if anybody knew some rims that will fit on the rear axle? Pretty sure I have a Dana 60. Hub hole on old rims measures around 4.75 inches 8 lug pattern. Pretty sure you guys already know all that info.
Your rim pattern is 8 on 6.5. It's common on all the older chevies dodge and Ford. You just need to make sure the hole in the middle of the rim is large enough to accept the front hubs if you have 4x4. Some of the dodges have a smaller center hole in the rim. Most aftermarket rims have a larger hole, so if you see an old chevy K2500 with some nice looking rims, they will probably fit.
Any rims made for a f250/350 up to 1998 will fit your truck. 1999 is when they came out with the Superduty, and then have a different metric pattern. There are some odd ball f250 7 lug rims for a couple of years around 1997, but it will be apparent if you count the number of holes in the rim, there will only be 7.
