Used the new 5w40 full synthetic oil and new upgraded Motorcraft FL2124S filter.
Full synthetic oil is great! Heck, my fuel economy went up by 5 MPG just doing my test drive around the block!
And installed, finally, my new EZ-106 drain valve, bought the doggone thing back in November last year, been sitting on the workbench ever since, now in use.
I'm in a 7.3L, but I've got to get some of that higher MPG oil!
Very similar to the 0W-20 some newer engines use. I always check to see the price of Wesson vegetable oil or Crisco to see which one is on sale. Sometimes, I splurge and get peanut oil.
