Expedition Engine Code Location?
Greetings!
I used to have another type of vehicle, GM type, that allowed the simultaneous push of two buttons on the climate control to spit out the current engine codes (error codes) that were a presage to a "check engine" warning, on the screen. Does the Ford Expedition have anything like that? I have a 2000, 5.4 liter EB. Gets anywhere from 11.1 mpg to about 12.2 mpg in the city, 42,000 miles on it. Runs rougher when A/C or heat engaged, occassionally it stutters upon initial acceleration from a stop.

You need to hook a OBDII scanner to the PCM if you want to read codes. Do a Google search, there are hundreds of options. I opted for a Superchip hand held tuner/scanner so I get performance mods and a scanner in one unit. Autotap makes a nice product too.
