new truck new problems
new truck new problems
picked up a 6.9 swapped into a 89 f250. PO had issues with the glow plug system and attempted to wire a bypass and unfortunately connected the push button to the small terminal facing the front of the truck. BUT there is absolutely 0 clicking when key is turned and 0 WTS light. there is power to the big fat yellow wires but no power to any other terminal. from what i am seeing it seems to be a 7.3 glow plug relay. or im ignorant (probably true) the terminals im reffering to are on the passanger side valve cover at the rear. noticed that there is 1 glow plug that is bad on drivers side and one injector is leaking a little (will try and see if loose). and i absolutely have no clue where to start! i would like the truck to start without use of the block heater constantly and be able to control when i use the glow plugs. any tips at all are appreciated.
