Since you got a three digit code you’re working on a ‘90 something F-Series or Bronco? From the factory, the oxygen sensor should be in a pipe where the two parts of the “Y” come together.




The harness is on the passenger side. Were the wires cut so you are making the harness to the sensor then tying them into the engine harness?

We still don’t know what vehicle you have but I’d assume it used a lot of gas without an O2 sensor. It is computer controlled (OBD-I) so why wouldn’t it have an oxygen sensor?

Are you sure it’s an AOD-E? I don’t think Ford ever offed that transmission behind the 351W.

Maybe because you drive such a short distance that the truck never has a chance to get out of open loop mode.
