OBD2 ground connections
6.8l V10 in a 2011 motorhome. Engine suddenly quit. When I plug in the OBD2 reader, I can start the engine again and it performs perfectly (no error codes). As soon as I disconnect the reader, the engine dies. The connector of the reader shortens the GND and signal GND (pin 4 and 5). The GND connection to the car is good (0 ohm), but the signal GND measures 1k Ohm. I think the PCM provides all signal ground connection. But I can't find any wiring diagrams showing me the PCM pinout. Any idea?
