IPR rebuild
My IPR is leaking. Should I remove the oil out of the HPO reservoir first? I would rather not clean it out of the valley.

Yes. I remove the oil and then lay down a absorbent pig blanket. No mess that way. I have removed my IPR so many time trying to solve a leak.

Thanks for the prompt reply. This is the first time I have one leaking. I have an o-ring kit, but have been putting it off for some time now. Hopefully I wont need a pig blanket? I have never ran across one and I'm in the Arizona desert.

The Pig products work really well, or you can use a paper towel.

puppy pads work well too, used them on my trans rebuild

Diesel O Rings dot com sells a cheap IPR rubber plug that works really well.
