Used Topper
Hi all,
Love 'em or hate em, I have always had a used topper. So I was worried when I bought my first new truck in over 30 years. 2021 F-150 Supercab, long bed. The bed is a different shape and the length is odd, although I love it! Well, I found that a topper for a GMC 2500 Long bed fits our F-150 long bed. It fits perfectly at the cab and again at the tailgate. But it's not an exact fit in the middle. The Ford tailgate made me have to trim the bottom of the door so it would close, but it lands mid point of the tailgate. The way the door closes, if I lock the truck there's no way you are opening the topper. So for $500 on Craigslist I found a good used topper that fits. Just thought that might help someone else looking for a good deal.

That's where I lucked out. Oxford White truck, and a white aluminum topper. The black tinted windows and black trim look great on the new truck. But I've sanded and spray painted many a topper over the years. Not that hard and unless you really want a perfectly matched truck...in which case you aren't buying used.
