2012 xl mirror options

Hello. I tried googling and searching here before posting to no avail, so hopefully someone has some insight. I'm looking for tow mirrors on a budget. I don't need heated or lighted or anything fancy.

My local marketplace and craigslist seem to have many cheap options but they are all off older models, mainly early 2000's. Does anyone know for certain what years would fit? Any help is much appreciated.

Actually, you will want 2008 to 2016 tow mirrors. Way better than the 1999-2007 tow mirrors. They just bolt on. 2017-up tow mirrors will also bolt on.

so 99-07 require modification? Cant be too difficult if that's the case?
