Owned my 2015 6.2 Platinum for over a year now. Love the truck. There are a few nagging issues that I have just been living with since I bought it and was wondering if this could be BCM related.
Issue#1- Blinkers only work when holding the blinker arm into position (up or down)
Issue#2- Rear seat overhead courtesy lights work when turned on by hand but not when opening either rear door.
I noticed my battery was about 5 yrs old so I ordered a AGM replacement. When I took my old battery out it was swollen. No indication on it being bad other than only maintaining 11.8 volts. So my first though was my regulator is probably bad too so I ordered a new alternator. Correct me if I’m wrong but doesn’t the BCM help control alternator charging as well?
Anyone else experience things like this?
