So I have an 05 f250 with a 6.0 4x4 I been having issues with my speedometer. Already changed three speed sensors two on the trans and one on the rear end. It works for a while then it just puts my truck into limp mode. Speedometer is going crazy then Stops working. Need help anyone know what I can do next?
Instrument cluster needs repair most likely. Circuit Board Medics is who you’ll want to use. It’s a common failure point IF you have diagnosed the issue correctly.

would this cause the truck to throw the codes for speed sensor?
Mine just has the dash go completely dead other than the battery charge and SRS warning lights which function normally. The previous owner popped the trim ring off and showed me that if you grab the right hand wiring harness on top of the instrument cluster and pull down on it like you're trying to break it you can at least get it out of limp mode and can usually convince the speedometer to kick on for a few hours. Mine won't go into limp mode as long as I can get the dash to kick on for even a second after starting the engine.
