Silly gimmick. Weight ratings are just a suggestion anyways. When you can't pull it without going to 4-low, then you might be over just a little bit....
On mine, the information under "Your Vehicle's Capacity" is correct, but the information under the "Remaining Capacity" is the information from a truck with the lower GCWR truck (AKA: without the HCTT package). So the part that is calculated is wrong from the get-go. Seems they have some wires crossed somewhere... LOL!
completely understand. I have a 23 that’s built and waiting for shipping. Tried it and it gave me a payload. Just curious if it’s accurate. Always like knowing the numbers for my truck. Obviously when I get my truck I’ll look at the sticker.

The payload listing on the calculator for mine is spot on at 3016 lbs. However, it's the "Remiaing Capacity" section that has the wrong numbers. The best thing to do though is once you get it, fill it up and take it over the scales. Then deduct that from your GVWR.
I don't understand why you have to go to a web site to access that calculator. Why isn't it in the Ford app for smartphones.
I tried it, didn't like it, it seems to have some wrong numbers, I already weighed my truck and camper so no need for this calculator.

You know, the people who really have no business towing anything...
