Twice now when I went o get in my truck the power running boards did not extend. When I went to the selection the AUTO was not checked and OFF was checked. I originally happened a few weeks ago and I thought it was an overnight software update that changed the selection.
Yesterday ot happened again. Power running boards were no longer set to AUTO but set to OFF.
I’d start by doing a reset on the truck by disconnecting the battery for a bit. Amazing how many issues that can solve on new vehicles, not just Fords.
Do you have anything plugged into the OBDII port? Every time I run my scan tool on the truck it disables the RB. Thats a LONG first step when you don't realize the step didn't deploy!
