It could be a couple of things:
1. A worn ball joint
2. A worn tie-rod end (is the steering unstable as well?)
3. Worn anti-sway bar bushings
4. Worn brake caliper pins
4. Worn anti-rattle clips on the brake pads

Had the same problem with mine, the clips that hold the calipers in place were worn and the calipers would bounce around. New I put the clips in upside down and everything is quiet. The proper thing to do is to get new clips, but when in the middle of now where!
