94 7.3 Diesel Engine Wiring - Bare Minimum Requirements

I have decided to drop in a 7.3 from an old work truck into my 55 F600. I need some help figuring out what is required for wiring up the new motor. This is my first time working with a diesel motor.

If I had to guess, I need the items below.

Glow Plugs - It looks like the glow plugs are controlled from the contacter on the back of the motor. Can I pull in the coil with a toggle switch for a few seconds before I start the motor?
Fuel Shut Off - I believe there is a fuel shutoff on top of the fuel pump on top of the motor. Assuming this needs to be tied into the ignition switch somehow?
Starter - I can figure out how to make it spin
Inexpensive options for aftermarket gauges?
Anything else I am missing?

you picked the rite engine for easy swap with that IDI. and you are correct. glow plugs for cold start, and 12 volts to the front terminal on top of the injector pump for fuel shut off switch.
than just wire the starter to the fender mount relay like a gas engine.
for gauges, i would run water temp, oil pressure, volts, and exhaust gas temp.

If you are running a E4OD you'll need the harness and control module for it. I think I have that stuff because I was going to do the same swap but ended up going a different direction.
