TC question
ok i have a 1990 F150 with 163K on it
it has a BW 1345 (i think)
i am wondering if its a good idea to change the fluid in it or just leave well enough alone?
and it takes ATF right ? (mercon)

Well, just take a sample of oil and note if some contamination is in it, in that case remove whole transfer, disassembly, clean, replace seal, check oil pump and reinstall, othrewise let it alone...
