E4od wiring harnesses

I have a e4od trans in my truck and I found a loose wiring harness on top. It has 4 pins in it. I am wondering what it is and if it is causing my transmission issues. Thanks

Without getting into what's going on and why, you can clean those pins to where they are clean and shiny and any associated crud on both sides (contact cleaner) plug it back in and see what happens if anything.

I recall the only 4 pin connector in that area is for the O2 sensor. Could be wrong.
