Only dash vents
Hi
2017 F350 SD Lariet
Just befor Xmas as we were leaving to drive too a relatives for festivities (10 hrs at -20 C) my air control stopped working and I could only get the dash vents to work. Temperature, blower and dual zone appear to work fine. No time for a repair and my dtr, suggested a cheap plug in car fan. $15 later we were driving the winter roads to Northern BC with my wife holding a fan and directing warm air at the windshield. Worked adequetly, but our feet did get cold. Have been reserching a fix, Most problems and solutions are to do with the blend door or dual zone actuators. Have tried reseting the actuator by pulling fuses. So far my feet are still cold. It appears it is the Def-vent- heat actuator is to blame. Any thoughts or direction would be appreciated. Thx
