Happy Day NorCal!

Had to go to an awards banquet in Davis yesterday, so drove the 6.0. Good driving down the valley, but the sky opened up on us after lunch with family. Th e 6.0 ran like a champ even though it was a B**** to park in downtown.

I was a guest of honor for Our Boy Scout Council, where they awarded me the Silver Beaver for Service to the program.

Congratulations!

Well, I have lived here in Fresno for twenty years, and this is the first time I have ever seen snow on the ground.

The photo is blurry because I was getting pelted with rain while trying to take it.

I am impressed. I want to thank you for what you do. Thank you for providing leadership and being a role model. It is you, and men like you, who really make a difference in our society. You lay the foundation and build the framework, for the boys to become men. You are the reason why our society is still reasonably acceptable.

Wow. Snow in Fresno

. That's not global. Or warming. You are going into the next ice age.

You may have to invest in a long winter coat.

Mine is turning off lights. I secretly hate it when people leave lights on when they leave the room. That's just as bad as leaving water running when you brush your teeth or comb your hair. Or idling the engine.

If all boys were involved in the Boy Scouts America would be a better place. I was a Cub Scout when I was a boy, along with my brother. Dad was our scout leader. However, my brother and I wanted to play baseball and dad told us we could one or the other, but not both. So, we chose little league and dad became our manager.
