The dealer has no control over if they can take it or not, it normally says in fine print order or take delivery and a range of dates. I had a PCO that I received after I ordered my ‘22 F350 and it expired before the truck arrived. We checked when we were doing the delivery and it showed no active incentives tied to my name, address or email. It showed the ones that were expired and no longer valid. The PCO is processed through the Vincent system not by the dealer. Unfortunately the system is designed to give you a glimpse of hope and never let you actually use it. They had the PCO in the file that I received in the mail from the time that I got it until the day of delivery as well.
That's been my experience. I received one that expired before order banks opened, and this current one will expire before my 2023 arrives.
Take it over to your dealer and have him lock it onto your order. I got a $2000 one 1st week of October and they locked it on my 2023 order and I don't expect to see my truck until August.
I called Ford customer service and they said "Its up to the dealer to get it tied to your order"
That makes sense, considering this one is good for 2 months. So if you received it the first week of October, it would have still been good when the order banks opened end of October.
I got my email yesterday and called my dealer. He said, send me a screen shot and I'll put it on your order. I ordered my F150 in August and have no idea when it will built at this point. So it is completely up to your dealer if they want to honor it for you.
Would you mind sending me a PM with your dealer's name and number? I'd like to call and ask how he did it, so I can share it with my dealer. Anything is worth a shot.....$2k is $2k....
Dont trust your dealers word. I ordered my 22 sd without a pco. Later one came in the mail and my dealer entered it in the system and I got the $2500 credit. If they dont try you will never get it.
Has anyone had any luck attaching their ECO to an existing order? Ordered 10/28, received the ECO on 2/1. I'm heading into the dealer next week to give it a shot...
Today I received a $2000 Exclusive Cash Offer from Ford, effective dates 2/1/23 - 4/3/23......of course, my ordered 450 won't be here in time to use it.
They also sent me one back in the fall which expired on Oct 3rd, and the order banks didn't open until Oct 27th.
It's like they just keep sending me offers they know I won't be able to use....just to make me more disgruntled with Ford!!
Check the certificate number on both ECOs. I got one for $2500 about this time last year that expired. Then in October 2022 I got one for $2000 that was good till 1/3/23. They were both the same certificate number so it looks like they reissued it for $2000, $500 less. I was trying to use both, one on the 350 and one on the 450 I had on order.
I was able to use the $2k on my F350 Platinum order that I picked up on 12/20. 3 weeks later I traded the 350 in on the 450 King Ranch that arrived. Dealer gave me $4500 more on trade than I paid for the 350. Both were ordered X-Plan price protected and I paid about $9k less than final MSRP on each. .

I'm not sure I would trust the dealer in your situation. If you do your part and order a Ford in time then it is up to Ford to fulfil their part of the deal and deliver you a vehicle in time. If they do not, then you should not lose out on the PCO. Most posts I have seen on the subject have done just fine.

My order was placed on 12/6/21 and the PCO was valid on trucks ordered or delivered between 1/3/22-4/4/22. My truck didn’t arrive until June so I’m not sure what I should question as for as it being valid. I ordered before the start date and took delivery after the last day on the PCO. I’d love to believe that people are getting these applied by they’re dealer to orders that we’re out of the time allowed but I don’t see how that could be due to the dealer not giving the discount, it’s directly the the Vincent program. When we checked I saw an expired PCO from after I bought my 2020, 1 from 6 months before I ordered my 2022 and the one I received after I ordered and expired before I took deliver but none were available to apply to the order. I have no reason to doubt them when the show me the screen with my info and my wife’s info and nothing was valid at the time of order/delivery for either of us. They locked the price protection from the order date and took my x plan so in the end I went from a 2020 DRW Lariat to a 2022 DRW Platinum with an 8 year premium care warranty for $1400 so in the end I was happy with the outcome.
My dealer said no problem locking in my price and the $2000 PCO I got in October ( and my X-plan) His comment. Was that is about as a good a deal as anybody is getting on 23 orders.

I wish I would have had one like you did that was valid when I placed my order. I did mine when I did due to wanting to take advantage of the trade being so high at the time. What was your x plan price on the ‘23 if you don’t mind me asking?

Gotcha .. I didn't catch the dates earlier. I still stand by my opinion that PCOs should not expire if you do your part and Ford fails on their part.

I don't know exact price yet. The X-Plan website still isn't operational for all options. Just the base price. And I have not looked at it for 5-6 weeks ( I placed the order Oct 28th) But if memory serves me, It seems like it was about almost $4,000 off the base price for a F350 Platinum
