Running board lights not working

Running board lights not working
I recently bought a 2014 6:7 and installed some cube led lights as running board lights. Wired into factory running board light plug. It all worked great then yesterday I went to get out of my truck and nothing. So I got down there with a light tester and no power. So i went to the fuse box and the fuse is good and has power running though it.
Now I also wired these same lights into an upfitter switch so I can turn them on whenever I please. They are still working off of the upfitter switch but not automatically from running board light wiring.

Still working just not auto with doors open
All of the lights still function off the up-fitter switch that they are wired to.
