Weird build idea
So I've got a 1986 F250 extended cab long bed. the bed is falling apart, very rusty. Also the extended cab part is very rusty. So I had an idea. Could a guy convert a truck like this to crew cab short bed? I think this would look super cool with classic semi truck mirrors and a good paint job. What do y'all think? Is this a good idea, is it even achievable?

I've seen builds where the truck is made into a crew cab using doors from a regular cab truck in the back.
Of course, doing a project like this is not for the feint of heart. Are you a master fabricator? It would be much easier to just fix the rust and drive a crew cab long bed.
