Running lights stop working intermittently

My 2019 Lariat F250 running lights (taillights, mirror lights, license plate lights) will stop working. Brakes, and turn signal work. If I cycle the lights from auto to on they start working again. It’s happened twice last night with a trailer hooked up. Trailer lights were all functioning. I’ve read other posts where the running lights completely stop working but I didn’t see any where they come back on after cycling lights. Any idea what could be causing this? TIA

Check this connector

Passengers side. Use dielectric grease. Know to get water in.

I pulled that plug it was bone dry with no signs of corrosion, cleaned and greased it. 🤷‍♂️

Being all the running lights, I would try a new headlamp switch.

In "auto" mode, with halogen headlights, the running lights will shut off in bright daylight leaving the headlights on as DRLs. Maybe there is something wrong with or interfering with the light sensor?

Did you ever figure out what caused this issue. My 2019 F450 Flatbed is now having this problem. They turn on, stay on for a few minutes then I have to cycle auto to on and they come back on. Does not affect my headlights or trailer running lights.

Sorry for the late reply. I cleaned and greased the two plugs under the truck attached to the trailer hitch and did the same with the taillight plugs.
