460 Whine

Hello, I have a 1992 f250 with a rebuilt 460 engine. I know that most trucks with a 460 have a whine but I find it quite annoying and would like to quiet it down. It is a whine that is in correlation with the engine RPMs. Is it my actual engine or a component in the engine bay that makes this whine? Any advice on anything would be appreciated. Thank you for the responses.

Flip the belts off and see it the whine stays or goes away.

Put a small hose to your ear and listen to the air pump. You can go around the other components listening and being cautious of the fan and other moving parts..
