6.0L PSD in an Excursion?

I was at the local dealership and they had 2 6.0L F-250s, and I got to talking with the salesman, he told me they aren't making excursions after 2003 and that they will never produce them with the 6.0L, I thought the last year was 2004 and they are putting the 6.0Ls in them aren't they? If anyone knows please clarify

Last I heard that 2003 or 2004 will be the last year the Excursion will be made.

Yes, I will confirm for sure. I have a 2003 6.0L PSD Excursion on order. I take delivery on the first week of February. I had a dealer say the same thing. The 6.0L wasn't offered supposedly by the salesman. I think he wanted to just make the sale that day and give me the 7.3L. I figure if you're spending this much on a truck, wait an extra three months and get exactly what you want.

I have a 6.0L Excursion that is sitting at the dealer waiting for me to pick it up. They exist.

The Excursion is supposedly being discontinued in 2005 I believe, not any earlier. I'll be surprised if it's gone in 2005 without a comperable replacement.

The Excursion will have the 6.0. As of two weeks ago Ford only had about 28,000 7.3 engines left so soon the 6.0 will be the only choice.
