Love them. That being said the clear coating on mine seems to be coming off. Mentioned it to the dealer and they are replacing both headlights under warranty next week.
Huge difference over the lights in the 2012, can actually see things on the road. Not sure where you live, but as stated above, the only complaint I have is if you’re driving in snowy conditions you have to clean off the lenses occasionally since LED’s don’t produce enough heat to melt the snow and ice.

What year? I had one replaced on my '19 for that same reason, clear was failing on the top. The first dealer I went to (who I intend to never go back to) dragged it out for months and then said Ford denied to warranty it. Went to another dealer who had Ford approval in less than a day and scheduled it the same week.
I would suggest inspecting the exterior of the light after the replacement. That dealer who gave me the run around did replace another headlight due to some failed LED's and managed to scratch the top of the new headlight. I made them aware of it but they never made good on it. Can't notice it with the hood closed so I decided to drop it and never give them any more business.
Those giant lights on the 2023's better have a good clear on them, they have even more exposure than the 17-22 headlights.

My 22 with halogens gets flashed as if the high beams were on, all the time. The led's are even more obnoxious to oncoming traffic. I have zero complaints with 4 H13 bulbs lit all the time, that is already double what 99% of vehicles run. Much more of a want than a need in my book. I have not been the least bit disappointed in the regular lights performance in my rural area teaming with suicidal wildlife. I personally would not spend thousands more to get them but obviously, lots of people do.
With complaints about the coating on the lights peelingand cobbs burning out I cant see a reason to spend $1800 more on the Lariat just to get an inferior quality product.
It's great some people get a lense replaced under warranty but the bumper to bumper isn't that long. I've already seen multiple trucks with 1 side burnt out completely so I another thing I dont want outside of warranty.
I have the LED headlights. I spend a lot of time out in the middle of nowhere. There are no street lights out there. The LED lights are excellent at illuminating the road and the side of the road, making it easier to spot four legged critters considering Death By Super Duty.
I had my headlights covered with Paint Protection Film, so they're protected against rocks/debris. I think that may have prevented any peeling, if mine were susceptible at all.
The Ford extended warranty does not cover the LED lights. You have to add an option for those to be covered, which I did get.

You have two kinds of LEDs on the 2023 trucks.
The Lariat and KR get LED headlights like previous generations
Platinum and Limited get Projector LED. I think, first year for those in Superduties I'm interested to see the difference

If there's a huge difference between the two types, I may be interested in swapping up to the projectors, if possible. Seems like it would be mostly a plug-n-play... I hope.

I suspect not. I'm pretty sure the new projector LEDs turn around corners and actively reduce glare for oncoming drivers. I'd expect a minimum difference of a module, housings, wires to be pinned into BCM, and a ton of Forscan changes.
Having switched from halogen to OEM LEDs in my 22 and feeling the pain of that, I feel sorry for anyone in 23's looking to add OEM projectors. To go from XLT halogens to OEM projectors you'll need a new grille, new headlights, probably ballasts, probably a module or two, the list goes on. I suspect the $3k retrofit cost for '22s will look dirt cheap compared to '23s.

Wondering if the 2023 reflector LEDs will be easier to add than the projector LEDs. It's a shame ford packaged the LEDs with a rim package and excluded the dually XLTs from led life.
I'll be watching Morimoto closely, my 2023 is in production so I should have by this time next year...

If that's the case, then I'll obviously bow out of that venture. I'm sure I'll be happy with the reflectors in any case, as they'll be a big upgrade from anything I've ever had in a truck thus far.
In the Platinum trim, Rapid Red Color, you can only get a black interior. I'm not a big fan of black. So I was considering a King Ranch for brown interior. but I wanted the best headlights available.
I've never seen or drive a Superduty with Projectors LED. So it's a gamble its worth it. I ordered a Platinum
A projector is just an LED cobb with a convex projector lens amplifying the light. My Buell XB12R had LED projectors and people flashed me constantly when I just had the daytime running light on at night. If the light is focused and shines in your eyes it can be blinding.
Have them. Love them. Would pay for them again. Only complaint as mentioned by others is that they don't create heat so when driving through snow and slush, it just freezes to the headlights and you will need to clear it off. If you get the extended warrantee, make sure to get the one that covers the LED lights. The base plan doesn't and these things are well over $1000 per light. At least didn't when I purchased my truck.
