sand blast or wire wheel?

Next dumb question..

I'm cleaning up the rear-end from the 68 parts truck - the exterior so I can paint it.

Wire wheel would be my preference, but sandblasting is so much quicker and more effective...

I was just kind of concerned about the finish... I don't really know why I was worried, I'm gonna paint it with POR-15 anyway..

I just need more trivial crap to over-analyze, I guess...
