Question power windows

I am thinking of changing to power windows and searched the site put only found info on a 77, mine is a 72. Has anyone done this without a kit- making one up? Any help would be great.

A comapany called Electric Life in IL has kits specific for evry year, they may not sell direct, mine came from A-1 in Gardena CA, they are only a dealer.

Specialty power windows has a kit that will work for a "one piece" application. I've spoken with the folks there and they claim as long as the glass is flat and has enough clearence near and around the hinge area, it should work. I'm in the process to see if that is true. If you're wanting to just power up the main glass, keeping the vent wing. the Electric life that Trevor mentioned does have kits specific for years. For example, when I called them up and asked for a 68 kit, they mentioned that 67 and 68 are a little different. So you should call them and specify the year of yours. Thats my two cents!
