Alignment fixed with new tires?
Well, the last time they screwed me over my truck ended up pulling to the right right when I pulled off the lot. I then later found out I had a bent leaf spring hanger because of the wreck the parts truck was in, and that may have been my whole problem.
Anywho, somebody down the road from me about 30 miles was selling a used set of tires that fit on my 20-in newer model factory Ford rims. I'm not going to keep these rims because of the incorrect offset causing tires to rub, and putting these tires on didn't help anything but, I got a really good deal on them and my tires were getting bad due to the alignment that the crappy shop did. So for a hundred bucks, and they've got a decent bit of tread on them, I bought them and swapped them onto my rims myself. Which was definitely a two-person job and thankfully my dad was there to help and teach me how to do it.
But anyway what's weird about it is after I put these bigger tires on, my truck doesn't pull to the right anymore. It tracks mostly straight. These tires seem to have corrected my pull to the right, so, that being said could the tires have caused my pull to the right?
Here's some pictures of the new to me tires. Again I'm not going to use these rims for long. I'm going to get a brand new set of 315/75/r16 Nexen All terrains for my 16-in rims that Jason gave me and I'm going to run those. These tires are 35/12.5/r20's. I like having these wider tires a lot. They definitely filled the wheel well up a lot better than those skinny tires that were on these rims.
