239 French Flathead
239 Flathead. French. Need advice...... i have just take a compression test on the motor....quite even but maby to low readings....warm engine,all plugs out,wide open throttle.....checked the net, should be 110 psi.....at least over 100.... should i change the piston rings?....would it be better when i start using the truck more? was thinking i had a sticky valve in one of the cylinders but now i think it would have showed in one of the readings. The motor stalls and puff a little when pushed.
the motor had been stored for 40years.
