2017 intake manifold replacement options
Good evening. New to the form but have used it to answer questions I have had for my 7.3.
My coworker has a 2017 f150 with the coyote 5.0. He got the common check engine lite for the vacuum butterfly not responding in the intake manifold. From this site and other forms I have concluded the actuator shaft broke for one of these butterfly’s. The fix is a new intake manifold however… they are on indefinite back order. Ford isn’t even taking orders for this anymore. I do know of the Boss intake but I do not believe this a good avenue as it changes the way the truck drives and this coworker likes it stock. I want to know what is the best solution? As close to plug and play as possible. Will the next gen intake fit? Is a mustang intake a better fit? Any help is appreciated.

You can check salvage yards for the intake manifold. Even though it's a 2017 there are bound to be some in the salvage yard already. Here's a search engine you can use. Good luck.
