It's dry under and behind the master. Just had the rears calipers, rotors and pads done too. Peddle felt like a very slight sinking at a stop. Good thing I believe in test drives before real adventures.
No leaks at the calipers or stainless lines so it's most likely the main near the drivers feet.
I replaced a bunch of mine during my build. Not fun at all! In hindsight, I probably would have sprung for an entire new stainless set and do them all in one go. Scabbing them together works, but it’s a pain in the you know what. At least I thought I was. Good luck!
I redid all of mine a few years ago in PA with another member on here and getting the old ones off was so scary, He was taking my old ones and we were using his as my core. Fun times, at least you're smart enough to test drive things, too many people don't think to.
I had the same line go on me twice in different locations, patched them up with couplers which worked for the time being until I had a chance to replace them all . I used the Dorman stainless steel kit , fit great, we also replaced the brake hoses with the Russell SS hoses. Was lucky that my Nephew and his buddy assisted me ( more like I assisted them) one evening after the shop that he works at part time closed for the day. Soooo much easier on a lift to do the job, took the three of us about 2 1/2 hours to complete the job including bleeding the system
Best thing I’ve done really improved my braking power.

It's that lift, it gets you EVERY time! That thing makes any job like 40% easier.
If you MUST move the vehicle you can "patch" the line by using a rubber hose to couple the holes/issues. Technically it could be a permanent solution, but why take the risk? So many lives are at stake.

We just became custodial grandparents...it's a difficult time. Feel free to get over here and help!
Sounds to me like you just got extra helpers that can hand you tools and hold the light. Turn the situation into an advantage of the Cummins excursion swap project. If the wife complains, call it bonding time.
