2021 headlight ballast replacement
So, I had an accident a while back where I was forced off the road by a trash truck. Damage was to right front and reached $17k to repair. I picked up the truck from the dealer and the right headlight is out. They have a ballast on order and it came in but they didn't have time to replace. I took the truck as they had mine for a full month and the rental I was driving had to be turned back in. I told them to just give me the ballast and I would replace it.
So they didn't because they claim that the computer and ballast has to be reprogrammed to work. Is this correct?
