below is what I was experiencing. What solved the problem was new ICP
I will include as much info as I know. I got this truck 2 days ago. Truck had a edge 6 position tuner on it which I ran with for the first couple days but I could tell there was some idle issue. On a cold start the check engine light would be on but it would go off once the truck was warm but still seemed like it had a rough shake. I pulled valve covers off to see if all injectors were working and all 8 were spitting and I unplugged 1 at a time so i could tell each one was working. At this point I decided to remove the edge 6 position tuner and well that seems to make the idle even worse (videos included) idk if the tuner was masking the issue best it could or what. I have included 2 videos both of which have the 6 position tuner OFF the truck. one video you will notice where the check engine light is on and once it goes off the truck has a big hiccup and goes back to idle but idles pretty rough. I can press on the pedal and it levels out but once I release its right back to rough idle. all help would be greatly appreciated. I was thinking bad injector or worn injectors but they all fire and it was running better with tuner on it but still not perfect so I hate to go spend over a grand on something that might not fix the issue

You need the least amount of FP at Idle . The truck will run on 10 PSI . Most likely have an HP oil pressure leak. Check the IPR first . A good scanner for data will help .

don’t believe it’s a hpop I don’t see any oil and the truck fires up no hesitation
Upon more inspection I’m going to be replacing the icp today. Pulled the plug this morning and the inside the plug is wet and the whole sensor is covered in oil. I’ll update y’all once I change it.
I'd bet they are original and they are due for replacement.
you are probably right but I’m not looking to spend that kinda money right now. I know all injectors are working due to pulling valve covers and checking so ima try and ride them for a bit. Gonna start with that icp sensor today. Truck only has check engine light and rough idle when it’s cold. Once it warms up check engine light goes away and idle smooths out
