Put about 50 miles locally today. Real happy with it. It does ride stiffer than the 350SRW but not teeth jarring.
Here are some pictures as promised.
shoot you dont drive much! In 2 days of ownership I had racked up about 250 miles of driving. Not including transport miles from driving it from the dealer. Those 250 miles were as I call it "grocery getting miles".😀
If I had to do it again I would have got the KIng Ranch in place of the lariat, love the interior seats. Maybe I'll order a 2024 when they open order banks.
When delivered the NEW MSRP after all price increases was $93,360
Original MSRP when I ordered it was $89,630, so price when up $3,730 over the year since ordered
X-Plan Price at order time was $84,985
So the discount of the new MSRP due to price protected X-Plan was $8,375
Even better was they gave me $83,000 trade value on the 2022 F-350 Platinum trade which I bought for $77,305 just 3 weeks earlier.
Trading saved about $4,920 in sales taxes since in Florida you only pay tax on the difference.
Looking back, I wish I had gone with my first thought and ordered the F-450, maybe it would be sitting at the dealers lot today instead of the one I ordered and decided not to get. Nice truck. Do they not put the plaque on the tailgate for the KR any more?

The tailgate plaque is part of the Chrome package. With that package you can’t get two tone. In hindsight I didn’t realize that. I do have another F-450 order that was unfilled and rolled to a 2023. I ordered that as a Red monochrome 450 KRU with the chrome package . I’m not a big fan of colored bumpers because of chipping possibility.
That explains why the 2012 KR I had didn't have the plaque while others did. I just thought it was because the tailgate was replaced. It was missing the badge too. It had no chrome and was two toned as well.
There are two colors where the plaques look good, Black ( and to an extent the really dark ones like Magma Red and Antimatter Blue) and the white metallics. Adds a touch of class to those colors, and looks tacky on the other colors. I definitely like the top pic better than the bottom one in that color.
