I would like to purchase a new F350 6.7L CC SRW for towing my 5th wheel. No of the dealers around me have any inventory on the lots. One dealer I spoke with is telling me that there is a 20 week wait right now to receive an ordered F350. Is that true? I would be willing to look outside of California if I could get a better delivery time or find inventory to choose from and still get a decent deal on the truck. Any suggestions?

Don't plan on seeing any 21 hitting the lots prior to December. I know the fleet dealer here has over 600 units on order and we might get lucky and see 50 chassis cabs by December from what I was told. All the 6.7 builds are going to be pushed even further back due to allocation.

Timing is tough right now. Inventory is low, deals are not going to be great. If you find something, odds are you won’t have negotiating leverage on price.
Then again, COVID-19 could become an issue again where shutdowns happen.
My suggestion would be to just order what you want and be patient. Roll with it because you will own the truck for a few years.
IMO, You will have more leverage with an order.

Take a look in Utah area for F350s, few good deals a few weeks ago. Also Laura Ford and Houston area, but those were mostly F250s.
