I have an ARE camper shell on my F350 long bed truck. It is leaking when driven in the rain. Water appears to be coming from between the shell and truck, but not 100% sure. I took it back to dealer and they resealed it, but problem persists. How do I solve this?
So far my ARE hasn't leaked, but I have a slide attached to the floor so if it did I guess it would end up under the contents. The ARE was installed by the folks I ordered it from, so I don't know what's between the topper and the truck.
The sealant tape (not adhesive) on my fore-and-aft surfaces has a figure-eight cross section. I don't know if that's important but I haven't had a leak.
It can be only one of two things. Either the seal between the bed rail and the canopy, or a window. My ARE windows leaked like a sieve, I never could get them to quit.
