Just picked up a new 2022 Bronco Badlands edition. I was going to order one in February but this one appeared on a dealers lot not far from my home. Actually was able to buy it at the sticker price. All of the other dealers around me are still marking them up $5000 or more. Turns out this one was a special order that was placed last year then not purchased.

OP was able to buy it at MSRP. All the dealers around me are still charging 10k+ markup. What does Ford plan to do about this continued practice? I have been waiting for Bronco production and sale practices to normalize but at this rate we are probably going to buy a 4runner this year instead.
If you want to take this to PM, no need, just search cars.com in California and see how many dealers are still openly asking for markup despite many Broncos sitting on lots for months. When I bought my 22 SD last year, my local dealer already try to screw me with a markup on a COVP verified retail order, I have little appetite in more shady practices for my next vehicle.

"We’ve heard a limited number of dealerships are interacting with customers in a manner that is negatively impacting customer satisfaction," a Ford spokesperson confirmed to The Drive via email in January. "If Ford determines that a dealership is engaging in such practices, we reserve the right to redirect that dealership’s allocation of the F-150 Lightning for the entirety of the 2022 model year."

The situation here is few people are paying the markup so the dealers are just holding the Broncos on their lots for months and refusing to budge.
Base model manual is wicked, and that's my favourite paint as well.
We'd been looking for a 2 door hardtop, manual, preferably green for some time.... Found this one with 134 miles being sold as used. Got it for $45,500. My wife is really digging it. Needs some mods- locker, bigger tires, etc. but it's fun to drive for sure.
