It's both comical and tragic to see how far ford has fallen as a company. I hate to see the unfortunate workers at Ford lose their jobs, but they have to know they're working for a failing enterprise.
Ford is now the most-recalled manufacturer. Quality is a joke...both on new releases and aging platforms. They don't even pretend to care now. No fixes for death wobble, diesel fuel pump, gas transmission issues, waves in the body panels, etc.
As I type this the B&P for 23 SD is completely dead. Not that I would buy one, I just wanted to see how much I'm saving by buying the GMC.
Ford might be out of business by 2030.

As opposed to buying a truck from a company that went out of business in 09?

No way I would have gotten a GM (or Ram) over my Ford. And for equivalent features, I doubt it would have been any less expensive... and that's pretty funny... Ford going out of business by 2030! LOL... I bet if you hang out at the GM forums you will see plenty of issues with recalls and quality control too. But good luck with your new truck!

The ONLY thing the ford has over the GM is the aluminum body so rust isn't an issue up here in the rust belt. However since fluid film is cheap, it's not an issue.
I'm not a blind loyalist to any brand (I wouldn't touch ram garbage). I find it hilarious so many fanboys think that a billion dollar corporation will reward their blind loyalty. I simply drove multiple trucks from each maker and the better truck was clear. No machine will be free from defects in design or construction, but the obvious flaws in the ford were far more apparent. If you want to gloss over the fact that ford is the most recalled manufacturer, you're part of the problem. I'd lemon law a truck that has death wobble or a terrible transmission in a heartbeat no matter the make. But it's your money spend it where you want.

Oh yeah, GMC's transmissions are solid. (sarcasm).
Go preach somewhere else.
Agreed, they have adjusted the images for Antimatter Blue. When I ordered mine in 2021, it wasn't even close. Even the current images are not really close to what the real color is. Antimatter Blue is effectively black looking at most times. But Ford still shows this.

Couldn't agree more! In fact, when I was ready to order my 2022, I really wanted blue, but just couldn't ever find one on a lot that looked blue. Every time a local dealer would have one, I'd go look, and it just looked black. I wasn't real happy with the rapid red, either, but that's what I ordered. It's ok, but doesn't look as good as it does on the website. This actually pushed my order date back at least 2 months, debating over color, and over dually or SRW. Turns out, I screwed up anyway, and got a SRW. I have recently just ordered a DRW.
Ford should have kept Blue Jeans and Ruby Red.....in my opinion, both better than what we have in the line up today.
Rams and GMs web sites or much superior to Fords. Ford should be ashamed. They appear to not care, knowing we will buy there trucks anyway.
Maybe so, but I don't drive a web site, and as a lifetime Chevy guy, the Ford truck is leaps and bounds better than Chevy, and Ram is made by Chrysler, so that's not a consideration
One of the things I screwed up on my 2022 order....after building at least 100 times online.....was that when doing it online, the website just said "rain sensing windshield wipers" on the page selecting options.....and I never realized it was also tied in to the heated steering wheel. I would have gladly payed $165 for heated steering wheel had I known, but I had no interest in the RSWSW, so I didn't order.
I made sure to check on the 2023 I ordered, it appears the heated steering wheel is standard now on the Lariat.
I barely figured that out before build time on my '22. They could have been more clear.
