My biggest issue with XM is the sound quality. It's highly compressed, low bit rate, low frequency garbage. I can't believe people pay to have their favorite songs destroyed in such a way.
I've had SiriusXM since 2006 or so. I always negotiate when it's renewal time and usually pay under 50% for the 2 radios I use. Also, we have the family plan for YouTube Music, which everyone can cater to their own tastes. Those, along with Amazon Prime membership make terrestrial radio a thing of the stone age. Much like a printed copy of the newspaper...
I wish broadcast radio was better, but I can't stand new music (yep I'm getting older). I do like SiriusXM, to me, I still kind of like having a DJ (yep still getting older). I don't spend much time talking to the rep when time to renew, if they don't want to budge I just tell them to cancel. Pretty soon I get a phone call asking what it would take to get me back. I also have an Apple subscription for iCloud storage, TV+, and Music. If you think about it, it is still way cheaper than buying a bunch of CD's for a few good songs. To each their own, the younger generation like streaming and that's fine I use it too, but sometimes the DJ talking breaks things up and still keeps the old school feel.

Uhh, I don't think you're going to find a Super Duty with a CD player anymore unless you go back a few years. Or unless you've gone aftermarket head unit.
I'm 60 years old and even I have been off the CD thing for many years. I switch back & forth between Sirius and the hundreds of songs on the iPhone while in my truck.
But some will still revert to an aftermarket unit, which many have CD available. The 2005 Lincoln LS that I daily drive came with an aftermarket unit with CD player. Of course I only have a few left from the dozens I used to own. And to me it's not worth carting them around in the car and fishing through them.
But that's just a personal preference. Some still choose to utilize their CDs and there isn't a thing wrong with that.
I just put a Kenwood DDX371 in the RAV4 I picked up recently. It has a CD/DVD player in it. I had it sitting in a box from years past when I had it for a Freestyle. The RAV4 didn't have handsfree BT, but it does now. I do have some CD's that are loaded with rips that it can play.
These siriusxm JACKWADS are really pissing me off!
They have been calling me and mailing junk to me EVERY DAY for the last couple of weeks trying to get me to renew my recently cancelled subscription.
And, the offer they have been sending isn't even as good as what they offered me not to cancel in the first place, $40 for 6 months.
Wish I had a lawyer in my circle that just loved going after nuisance garbage like this, I would sue the heck out of them!
Now, my phone rejects all of their calls, but it still notifies me of the call, so my phone still dings after they call.
So, I haven't talked directly to them, but have thought about calling them back to tell them to BLOW IT OUT THEIR AZZ!!!

When I block a number on my phone I get nothing from that number ever again.
