Need an Engine ID
I have an 93 f150 with a 302 and the 4e0d transmission. But my question is about an engine that I saw in a Lincoln continental congressional. I was a over head cam 5.0 v8 I am wondering how hard it would be to swap into my truck. And also me and some freinds are going to build a rice fryer and one of those engines might make an interesting power plant for it. But that depends on what trannys will bolt up to it oh and we are planning on using turbos.

Other than the fact the motor might have gt-40 heads why do you wish to swap motors? Is yours on the way out or are you looking to increase speed/power? Any small block tranny will bolt up to the 5.0. Turbos sounds interesting on a 5.0. Do you mean 4.6 overhead cam engine? later
