I've got a stock 5.8L with the date stamped '84 on the block and '85 on the heads. Can anyone tell me were I can go on the web to get some information on this engine?
I'm looking specifically for torque and horsepower measurements. I believe it was pulled from a truck but I was told it might have been from a police crusier because of a special marking on the block (just what I was told, can't verify).

See if you can get the casting numbers off the block i believe their above the starter like the 302. Then go here: http://www.pacificnet.net/~fastoso/castingcode.html
