Three rounds of shoveling I finally got enough moved to get the Kia out. a grader passed by around 6.30 last evening and made a single lane , so I will be able to get to work this morning. The Malibu and that side of the driveway will be the next chore, unless the big plow goes by during the day today and fills up the end of my driveway so I can't get back in.

Lots of drifting here. Got the plow truck buried in one, had to dig out the ‘06 to pull it out.

This winter can end anytime now. At least it’s not white as cold, -16c this morning and the sun has some heat in it now.

Snow (very light) and -10 again here this morning.

Only thing rising is the gas prices

$1.55 - $1.65 in the Sault now. Haven’t checked, but our local places north of the Sault are probably closer to $2.

It’s going to be an expensive summer. Wonder what the price of fuel oil, or lng / propane is going to do.

Well what the heck I will not be political, but I suggest the current administration has never paid for even a drop of oil, gas or diesel

1.66 in the Sudbury area yesterday. I made into work only to be sent home at 10.30 as none of our customers were open. Still just a single lane on my street this morning, Alot of people begging for help on the community Facebook groups that are trapped in their homes. The hospital has cancelled all out patient services including chemo, radiation at the cancer center. Very few businesses open and all gov't services are closed. Officially, the total snowfall amount was 42 centimetres which I find hard to believe. The wind created 5 foot drifts everywhere. This was the biggest snowfall in Sudbury since 1959, and the most ever recorded in a two day storm. Nothing compared to Jeff's area, but for me, this was the most I have ever seen in almost my 70 years.
