That's the most any of us can do. Hope, pray and have an positive attitude. Its managed keep me waking up each morning. Also have a good laugh every so often, it seems to help me.
Been a few since last posted. Mostly taking care of around the house tasks. Did get a real suprise the middle of last week. Out feeding the the critters one morning and this shows up coming out of a old kennel cage we had setting there.
She is real friendly dog, seems eager to please and wants constant attention. Haven't found anyone who lost a dog yet. We think someone dumped her off. She had a number of ticks on her, got most of them off.
I guess that's about it for now.
Been very busy this week. Mom fell on the 2nd, no serious injuries thankfully. Took her to Dr., found out she quit taking meds and breathing treatments in june when Dad passed. Her o2 levels were down to low 80%.had somebody 24/7 until Yesterday. She had Dads old meds laying around that we did away with. her hot water heater sprung a leak, got it stopped for now. My wife has been and still is sick with whatever is going around.
Hope it will. Mom is making a turn for the better, staying on her own with a little help. My Wife went to Dr,. determined it is bronchitis. Meds not helping much. My Uncle lives a little over a mile from me, he has about 2-3 months to live (cancer). I have not even had a chance to visit him yet.
Hey all. Well we lost power early Wed morning and finally got it back this afternoon. Depending on who you listen to we got from 9-12.5 inches of very heavy wet snow. I'm going to have a lot of limb clean up for the fore seeable future. Had a number of trees that had bent over with there tops on the ground and a lot of cedar limbs broken off. Stay warm and safe everyone.
Still busy around here. Mom is gaining strength, but still weak. One of my Uncles is in hospice. Another Uncle is down to his last few days with Alzheimer's/Parkinson's. Got a 2 day conference in Hot Springs in a couple of weeks. Had no time for tractors or truck. Thinking about moving some Ford stuff i probably will not use. Have a 92 f150 4x4 supercab. Decent swb bed, all supercab interior cab parts, e4od trans, 341W i could be talked out of. Never heard this one run, not sure of engine/transmission condition. 1968 240 6cyl, has a broken rocker arm shaft, had it running. Is on engine stand in my shop, we can put a remote camera in cylinder or even pull head to make sure of cylinder damage, i do not think there is any. Interested in moving my 66 swb patina project.
Doing about the same over here. Mostly concentraining on keeping the house warm and moving forward in a vertical position. Did get some cleanup done yesterday from these last few storms. Got a bunch more to do.
Howdy,
I'm in Booneville AR. I have a shop here but I'm retired. Mostly fooling with 5.4 3v stuff right now, both of mine are toast. Anyhoooo, glad to meet y'all, hope to cross paths one day.
Join bodabdan, would like to learn about three valve stuff. Lost a Uncle to Alsheimer's today, he was 72. My Mom went to the Dr for a check up today and passed out on them. I thought she was getting better. My Uncle that is in Hospice is getting weaker. It seems like its hard to be happy ever since Dad passed, all of these folks with there problems. Thankfully God has promised Me better times. I have a wonderful Wife that supports me, ahealthy son that has a good head on his shoulders, a Aunt that looks over my Mom that is an angel, and a friend that is always there.
Lost another Uncle to cancer the 21st of February, Fellow I went to school with (younger than me) has stage four lung cancer. Mom is holding her own, but weak. At least spring is almost here.
