1989 ford ranger crank but no start

1989 ford ranger crank but no start

I have a 1989 ranger 2.3 4x4 been in my family awhile all original parts except spark plug wires and spark plugs the timing belt broke on my dad and he let it sit for a few years I got it replaced the timing belt and can’t seem to get it to start has a new fuel pump it’s getting fuel I’ve replace the starter and starter Solenoid but it’s still just turning over and no start

Check to see if there is spark by taking out one spark plug and grounding it to the engine and look for spark while turning over the starter.

There wasn’t any spark to the spark plugs and I checked the coil pack wires they are getting power to them

Are you sure they got the sprockets lined up right when replacing the belt?

Yes I lined all the sprockets up were the were supposed to be and checked it when I got the belt on and tried cranking it

Is the crank position sensor plugged in? It may have been unplugged when timing belt was done. It is behind the timing cover on the harmonic balance I believe.
