Dash mounted cup holder question
Have a 2000 Ex, and bought one of the new replacement in dash cupholders off eBay. The new “arm style“ Cup holder that I bought will not fit into the base of the 2000 Ex.
Does anybody know if the base that mounts inside the dash is different between the 2000 and the 2001 and newer Ex’s?
if so is there somewhere where I can buy a new cup holder and a new mounting base that goes inside the dash?

The "arm style" is way better than the foam retention style cup "throwers." Mine fit in just fine. I've done this twice. My 2000 Ex and my 2000 F350 without fitment issues. What issues are you having exactly?
The 2000 console cup holders also are inferior to the if you haven't already changed this piece out as well.
