Backup camera problems
I replaced my backup camera and wiring harness in my 2014 F150 to the camera. With the original camera I was getting the "camera not available " message. So I replaced it and the wiring harness to it. New camera, now the video is scrambled. Any ideas?

Don't quote me on this, but you may need to have the new camera programmed to your truck. But first you could start with double checking the connector on both the truck side and the tailgate/camera side for damage or loose fitting connections. Also inspect both harnessed for damaged wires. (i.e. cut/frayed insulation on the wires) Also be sure to inspect all ground wire locations for looseness or corrosion. If that all checks out you may need to make a trip to the dealer to have the camera programmed to the truck. If nothing else they most likely will need to calibrate the camera so that you can see proper distance on the screen.
