I searched the threads and found an old post where someone had this same issue, but I didn't see a resolution. I've got a 1973 F-100 Custom with a 302 and manual 3 speed toploader. I'm not sure what the motor came out of, but it's a 1980 I believe. The transmission is original as far as I know. The flywheel had some cracks so I ordered a new flywheel and clutch kit (lever style).
The new flywheel is the 164 tooth, 14" wheel (which mates up to the existing starter nicely). The clutch I have is an 11" clutch. However, the hole drilled in the flywheel only fit an 11" diaphragm type clutch (we had one to try) and what would seem to be a 10" clutch.
I can't find a flywheel that I can be sure will mate up to the 11" lever style clutch. Anyone know what to do here besides order a diaphragm clutch? I'm outside my window to return lol.
